To the Unkown and Cycle
Chicago 2024
This work explores my internal conflict between social expectations and personal freedom. Inspired by my father’s shift in expectations around marriage, I question if I must fulfill societal roles before being true to myself. I printed photographs on eggs to symbolize the fragile yet powerful existence of women. Through a microfocus lens, I saw the egg as a moon, suggesting the vastness of this question. "To the Unknown and Cycle" reflects my search for answers and peace with this cyclical dilemma faced by women.
